Ibo Atli
I love to build interesting and non-obvious products, code, and have fun at it (fun is my competitive advantage)
A little bit about me- Grew up in Southern Germany and got my first computer at age 10 (best day ever)
- Went to a school nobody will ever know and studied something that only exists in Germany
- Started my career at the biggest German retail conglomerate and my life went zig-zag from there
- Worked and lived in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and now I live in the greatest city on the planet, NYC
- Currently building a very small AI Product Building team at Capgemini Invent, serving F500 clients
- Manager building a very small and nimble AI Product Building team at the forefront of Capgemini Invent
- Sold $1.5B as a Manager on the Strategic Deals team
- Junior Consultant (in-house) at Lidl / Schwarz
- Built nimbic, PERM Insights, instamp, job thriller, and the world's first linkedin widget for iOS
- Nothing is impossible, everything is solvable with technology
- It's the greatest time ever to build something meaningful (and it's only getting better). Have the agency to just do it
- The best things that ever happened to me happened because I just did them, despite all odds stacked against me
- The best ideas are non-obvious and at first they sound crazy and unrealistic. You should just jump on them. They are really good
- Move fast and ship quickly, you can reverse most decisions
- Persistence pays off
- Very small and nimble teams. You don't need a lot of people to get things done. Often less is more
- The Boosted Board is the greatest way to commute in NYC
